Anchor is owned and operated by licensed occupational therapist and certified aging-in-place specialist J.J. Brooks. JJ earned his Masters in Occupational Therapy from Worcester State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gerontology from Plymouth State University. He has over 10 years of experience as an OT in NH and MA in inpatient rehab and home health care settings. Over his career he has developed a reputation as a client-focused therapist who’s devoted to increasing safety and independence for clients in their home.

Anchor can provide a uniquely integrated aging-in-place service, where clients have an opportunity to work directly with the same occupational therapist and installer throughout the entire process. J.J.’s hands-on experience with home modifications allows him to guide each step—from evaluating how you function within your home, to providing professional aging-in-place recommendations, and then clear education for clients and families on safe, long-term living at home. The result is a seamless, personalized experience built on continuity, accountability, and practical expertise.
